posted by John with 13 comments
Today my latest course Single Page Apps with HTML5, ASP.NET Web API, Knockout and jQuery became available at Pluralsight!
This also happens to be the 300th course released by Pluralsight! To celebrate, they are offering my course for free for 48 hours (see web site for exact terms and details).
Follow @pluralsight and @john_papa on Twitter to find out about other great offers like this, and feel free to Tweet this offer to everyone you know.

Outstanding! I’ve been waiting for your course to “air” since you first started to blog about it. If this course is even half as excellent as your last one I’m sure to learn twice as much
Keep up the great work and thank you.

Hi John,
I’m getting a error trying to load the course material solution… “The imported project “{mypath}\Pluralsight SPA\materials\CodeCamper\.nuget\nuget.targets” was not found.
Any thoughts?

Further to above, I just edited the relevant project files and deleted the offending line.
Another note: The project defaults to loading home.cshtml but that fails. However changing to index.cshtml seems to get things up and running.

Hi Brendan,
Did this happen in use VS 2012 RTM? What did you change to make it work?
I’ll look into this.

Brendan / midu – Sorry about that. It appears when we cleaned out the project of extra files we accidentally removed too many. I just sent a fix to Pluralsight now.

Great videos John.. saw your previous one with HTML5 Knockout and really look forward to completing this one… will redownload the exercise files.

Did the file size go from 22MB to 125MB? just checking..

Chau,
Thanks for the comments. Yes, the download size went up considerably. There were a few other missing projects in the initial upload, but we worked it out this morning and it should be good to go now.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but the exercise files are not available. I especially wanted to check out the UOW, but your video does not show all the classes/interfaces.
Any chance you can make those files available?

Hi Scott,
Fritz Onion, one of the owners of Pluralsight, posted a comment in my other post here in response to this same question: http://johnpapa.net/spapost9#comment-4036
Thanks for understanding.

As a friend of mine once said, “a mansion with no bathrooms is worthless.”
I understand the PS business model, and I have no issues with it. But if you are going to put on a video like this, you might as well show the solution and leave it at that as the end effect is the same.
All I wished for was that John would just show all the code in the video. I would have been quite content to rewrite it.
Yes, we perfected “guilt” John [totally inside, hope you get it].

Thank you for that link John. That helps clarify things a lot.
